Dined with a dear friend here tonight. This was the first time I have been in quite some time, and I was pleasantly surprised by the renovations they have made to the inside. It is really beautiful, and they play anime so that's an added bonus. My friend and I like to order a little bit of everything, so we ordered four appetizers and two bowls of ramen. Our first appetizer was the Chasu. This pork belly was the right amount of fatty deliciousness with a beautiful sauce. Our second was the taroyaki. Quite an interesting little bite. We liked it, but we thought it could have been improved with a spicy element to balance the creamy inside. Our third was the yaki-gyoza (pork). They were good gyoza with good sauce. Nothing amazing, but definitely not bad. The final appetizer was the steam buns. Those were beautiful pillows of deliciousness. I ordered the Tan Tan Ramen, and I am SO GLAD I took the recommendation of our server. He didn't steer me wrong, and I'm very excited to have some of that leftover for later this week. My friend ordered the Spicy Miso Ramen, and she was delighted as well. We both said we were excited to come here again in the future, and she took some ramen home for her husband!
